What is on this site, and what it is not

Every page here is written to help someone decide whether to pick up the phone — it is general guidance, not an opinion about your specific chimney, flue, appliance or ductwork. Two houses built the same year can hide completely different conditions behind the same brick, and none of that shows up in a photograph on a web page. If something you read here makes you wonder about your own property, the next step is a look in person, from us or from anyone else qualified to give one.

Estimates are not quotes

An estimate is a professional read of what your property likely needs, worked out from what we could see without opening anything — never a locked-in dollar amount and never a substitute for a written contract. On older masonry particularly, a panel or a camera can turn up more than the outside ever showed; when that happens, we stop and talk with you before spending another minute on the job, not after handing you a bill. You will not find a single number posted anywhere on this site, and if a figure gets attributed to us that nobody here actually gave you over the phone or in writing, treat it as someone else’s guess.

Booking a visit

Submitting the form asks for an appointment — it does not create one. A visit is only confirmed once we call or write back to set a time. Some properties need something only you can arrange: a key to a roof hatch, a nod from a managing agent, somewhere to park on a tight block. Mention any of that when we speak, so nobody loses a morning to a locked gate.

Some jobs live on the roof, and weather decides whether that roof is one we can stand on safely that day; when it is not, we push the visit rather than risk it, and you will hear from us as soon as the forecast clears.

What we claim, and what we don’t

This site does not state a license, an insurance policy, a certification, an award or a specific length of time in business, since nothing on that list could be confirmed against a public record when this site went live. If any of it matters to you before someone comes into your home, ask us directly by phone and we will answer straight. The star rating and review count shown here are exactly what Google’s own listing displayed on the date printed beside them — not rounded up, not averaged, not improved on.

The typefaces on this site, by contrast, are pulled in once when the site is built and served from this address afterward — not fetched from anywhere else while you are reading.

Everything you see here — the writing, the layout, the design — is ours, and every photograph was either taken for this business or belongs to it outright. Quote a line or two and link back to us; that is welcome. Lifting whole pages and republishing them elsewhere is not.
